Hello. My name is Louise Goodwin, founder of Awe and Fabulous (formerly known as LCG Creations) and an avid cross-stitcher.
Since 1980, I have created unique gifts to friends, and family at weddings, birthdays, and baby showers with the love of this craft. I had noticed these gifts was missing from the market. I wanted to show cross-stitching is more than samplers and embroidery hoops.
I have conducted market research at public trade shows to see if this was idea I can expand to the market. Communicating with the vendors, the feedback was positive. I have been selling my finished, unique gifts at the local Toronto craft bazaars at the Fall and Christmas season for over 10 years.
I realize customers love to find one-of-kind gift ideas, and I can create gifts with the cross-stitch patterns that are special gift choices. I must confess I love and obsessed to find unique picture frames at yard sales, and charity stores to create a truly unique gift to cherish.
I strive to create high quality cotton embroidery threads, fabric, and other items to embellish which elevates the emotions, richness of each finished product that inflects the person.
As you sample the patterns on hand, let me remind you some of these patterns are not stock items. Each pattern is individually hand-stitched on order and made love.
